We had the pleasure of attending one of the most energetic and sequined nights of dancing in Indianapolis. Dancing with the Stars: Live made a stop at the Old National Centre February 2nd, and with that came an evening of talent. Studded with stars and fan favorites of the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, this tour was sure to put a smile on any DWTS face!
This show was a display of the talented performers who dance across your television and brought the crowd to their feet. A sold-out theater could not contain their enthusiasm as the DWTS team came across the stage. In a few words, the night was elegant, bubbly, and vibrant!
Dancing with the Stars returns to ABC for their 26th season Monday, April 30th at 8/7c!

Mid July, Wolfsbane was graciously allowed to come experience Indy Pop Con 2017! This convention featuring comics, cosplay, entertainment, video gaming, internet culture, and so much more did NOT disappoint. With rows and rows of vendors, artists and celebrity guests, Indy PopCon really outdid themselves this year!
Featured photographer, Kiersten Hyten of Ooth Photography, shares her new found love for the cosplaying culture, stating, “My favorite part of all of this is probably the community.” she goes on to say, “There’s not really any negativity around here. Some people here, who may not open up much, are running up to people they have never met and asking for a picture with them!”
Indy PopCon was founded and became known in 2013, with it’s first convention being hosted in 2014 at the Indianapolis Convention Center, which is where it is still hosted. With help from a KickStarter campaign, the convention began to lift off the ground, thanks to the overwhelming number of supporters.
Since then, the convention has been growing with rapid sucession. Indy PopCon has only been getting better, and I can’t wait to see what they have in store for next year!
The sense of community at Indy PopCon is astounding. I have never seen such a large group of people so kind to each other. Everyone is so comfortable knowing they are accepted that there isn’t much sign of worry when it comes to being who you are. I think conventions like these are a wonderful example of how we should be everyday. Acceptance is so peaceful!
No matter the hair, skin, or eye color; no matter which fan culture you come from..We are all nerds. And that sentence is waived proudly.
Thank you again to Indy PopCon for letting us come and enjoy this wonderful convention! We will see you next year.
